Ultra Backyard Marathon -  April 11th

You don’t need to be an ultra-runner to take part. Walk, jog, or run - every loop counts, every start line matters.
The course is fully marked, looping back to HQ each hour, where you’ll find food, music, and a buzzing crew area.
Bring your gazebo or tent to set up your own mini-base between laps - this is where the magic (and madness) happens.

Every lap resets the clock. Each hour becomes a battle between comfort and commitment.
The format rewards pacing, patience, and pure determination.
Whether you’re chasing your first ultra or your furthest ever distance.

Gimme some lovin' - Blues Brothers May 23rd

This will be an outdoor gig in our cozy paddock. Camp for the weekend if you fancy! Get ready to shake a tail feather as our Blues Brothers Tribute Band takes the stage for an unforgettable night of soul, swagger, and classic rhythm and blues. Delivering high-energy performances inspired by legendary Jake and Elwood Blues, this show is packed with iconic, sharp suits, and-pleasing fun. From “Everybody Needs Somebody to Love” to “Sweet Home Chicago,” expect big vocals, tight grooves, and a dance-floor-filling atmosphere that brings the spirit of Chicago blues to life. Whether you’re a longtime fan discovering the magic for the first time, this tribute event promises a night of music, laughter, pure blues-driven excitement. 🎶🕶️

Northumbrian Revival - June 5/7th

The Northumbrian Revival is a celebration of mid-20th century life, encompassing the years from World War II to the swinging 60s. It will take place West Benridge Farm near Morpeth over the weekend of June 5th, 6th, and 7th, marking the 82nd anniversary of D-Day. Visitors park at Heighley Gate Garden Centre, and a fleet of vintage buses will bring to the farm. To commemorate this pivotal date in World War II, we will host the cream of wartime re-enactors, showcasing live wartime scenes from home and abroad, along with accurate equipment, vehicles, clothing, and presentations across our meadow. The Northumberland Archives will present an extensive historical exhibition the old stables. There will be a large marquee featuring the best vintage and collectibles sellers from the North East, along with food from street food vendors. Our own Vdubshack bar will provide refreshments in the barn, while day visitors are entertained by 'Wor Vera' and vinyl selections from house DJs. In the evenings, a superb selection of live music will be featured, including the Tyne Valley Big Band and Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra. Visitors are encouraged to get into the spirit by dressing in the styles of the era. Buy tickets for Friday or Saturday evening, Saturday or Sunday daytime, or go all in with a weekend ticket that includes camping (very limited, so be quick!)

The Big Morpeth Campout - July 3rd & 4th

Back again for its 3rd year The Big Morpeth Campout is one of Morpeth’s best outdoor music and camping festivals, held annually at West Benridge Farm in Northumberland. Set in the countryside just outside Morpeth, the festival brings together live music, family entertainment, and weekend camping in a relaxed rural setting.

The event features a varied lineup of live bands and performers, often mixing well-known acts with local and regional talent. Music sits at the heart of the festival, but it’s designed to be more than just concerts, offering a full weekend experience for visitors of all ages.

Camping is a key part of The Big Morpeth Campout, allowing attendees to stay on site and enjoy the festival atmosphere from day to night. Alongside the music, the festival typically includes family-friendly activities, entertainment, and food and drink vendors, making it accessible to both families and groups of friends.

Known for its friendly, community-focused atmosphere, The Big Morpeth Campout has become a popular summer event in the Morpeth area, offering a laid-back alternative to larger commercial festivals while still delivering a memorable live music experience

Northern Soul Night - June 26th

Back for its fourth year at West Benridge Farm, A Night of Northern Soul & Motown returns on Friday, June 26. Five local DJs from the All Northumberland Northern Soul Appreciation Society — Craig, Gary Bell, Brian Dodds, Ian Fenwick and Chris Marklew — will be spinning classic Northern Soul anthems, huge Motown hits, and a hand-picked selection rare and underplayed soul gems from across the decades, all played the way it should be… on vinyl. With a custom-made dance floor in our converted barn, plus bar and food facilities, this night never fails to pull in the crowds. The atmosphere is electric — only these lads seem able to create — and it promises to be another unforgettable night on the farm. Doors open at 6:00 PM until late. Tickets are £5 in advance online or pay at the door.

Less Stress Fest - 31st July - 2nd August

Less Stress Festival is an intimate, independent music and arts festival held near Morpeth in the heart of Northumberland. Designed to prioritise atmosphere, creativity, and community, the festival offers a carefully curated alternative to large-scale commercial events.

Set in a rural outdoor location, Less Stress Festival brings together electronic and underground music, live art, and thoughtfully selected food and drink vendors. The focus is on quality experiences, welcoming vibes, and space to enjoy music without the pressures often associated with bigger festivals.

Alongside the music, visitors can expect live street art and visual installations, creating an immersive environment that celebrates creativity in all its forms. On-site camping is typically available, allowing attendees to fully settle in and enjoy the festival as a weekend experience.

Known for its relaxed and friendly crowd, Less Stress Festival attracts people looking for something more personal, creative, and community-driven. It’s a place to discover new artists, connect with like-minded people, and enjoy great music in a beautiful Northumberland setting.
