About Us
The Farm
West Benridge has been in the Burn family for over 50 years. It is located on the outskirts of the ancient market town of Morpeth, encompassing 240 acres of arable land, grassland, and woodland. Medieval villages are scattered around the Benridge area, along with signs of Roman activity.
The Story
Throwback to the year 2016 when Pete (3rd generation) decided to host a little garden party for 30 of his friends. He gathered his musician friends and set up a couple of gazebos in the farmhouse garden, thus, the first event was born! It was named "West Ben Fest and was a great success. A year later, the festival had already expanded from the garden into the farmyard, with attendance rising to 150 people.
Pete met Tony Guerllia, who is experienced in the music and events industry. They teamed up to organize an event at the farm, which was a family camping festival. Fast forward to today, and the hosts events during the spring and summer seasons, ranging from music festivals to weddings to Northern Soul nights. The farm has brought in some fantastic over the years, such as The Futureheads, Leeroy Thornhill from Prodigy, and local legends Lindisfarne.
