The Farm
West Benridge has been in the Burn family for over 50 years. Located on the outskirts of the ancient market town of Morpeth with 240 acres of arable, grassland and woodland. It was named "West Ben Fest' and was a great success. A year later the next festival had already expanded out of the garden and into the farm yard with the attendance rising to 150 people. During covid Pete and Tony Guerllia met.
The Story
Throw back to the year 2016 when Pete (3rd generation) decided to put on a little garden party for 30 of his friends. He rounded up his friends that were musicians and set up a couple of gazebos in the farmhouse garden and the first event was born! It was named "West Ben Fest' and was a great success. A year later the next festival had already expanded out of the garden and into the farm yard with the attendance rising to 150 people. During covid Pete and Tony Guerllia met.
Tony being a pioneer in the music and events industry with over 20 years experience of Dj'n , being in bands, and putting on gigs they teamed up together and put on their first event on the farm which was a family camping festival. Fast foward to today and the farm hosts multiple events during the spring summer season from music festivals, to weddings , to northern soul nights. The farm has brought in some fantastic artists over the year like The Futureheads, Leeroy Thornhill from the Prodigy and local legends Lindisfarne.
